Reunion at the Narrow Gate Painting

Isaiah beautifully captures the purpose and meaning of my work: “And you will say in that day: ‘Give thanks to the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the peoples, proclaim that his name is exalted.’” I strive to fulfill this purpose that Jesus has given me through my art. My Psalm 19 series, titled “The Heavens Declare the Glory of God,” features paintings with starry skies and the dramatic beauty of constellations. I am currently working on a new series called The Narrow Gate. These paintings depict my envisioned scenes of entering the Narrow Gate and the wonders of heaven. My portfolio also includes illustrations from my books and some of my earlier works. My art has been showcased in various galleries and contests, including “Jesus in Blue Jeans,” which won Best of Show at the PlacerArts 30th Jubilee 2013 Open Juried Show. Another piece, “Ship of Fools,” was also featured in that exhibition. My wife, Denise, and I currently reside in Southern Oregon, where we cherish our annual family reunions and visits with our three children, grandchildren, and extended family.
