Another painting from my fractured series, Reverie is open to interpretation by each viewer. It can be a reflection of a struggle—an inner fight, human invasion of nature and wild, or it may come across as a victory, a positive achievement, a rebirth like Phoenix. Again, I am giving all the creativity rights to the viewer. As a modern work, the gestures and poses are inspired by classical works of art.

Abol Bahadori

Abol Bahadori is a prizewinning mixed-media artist based in the United States. He was born in Tabriz, the capital of Iranian Azerbaijan. As a child, he was inspired by the colorful carpets in his home. He won the "Best Young Artist" prize in the local schools at age nine. He studied art in his hometown and later in Manchester, England. Bahadori has been frequently selected by the Washington Project for Arts and The Art League, Alexandria, VA, for annual art auctions and solo shows with many best-in-show awards. He has actively shown his work in various prominent galleries in the U.S., U.K. and France.
