“Reversed Censorship” Oils allá prima on 18” x 24” wood. In a society where nature is portrayed to be seen as offensive there is no other way but to fight back. Imposing nature as ‘unnatural’ is purely atrocious. If a nude woman’s body (or any body) offends you in any way you have some serious issues. If you don’t like what I post UNFOLLOW me because I DO NOT create art to please you; I create art for myself and to communicate what I have in my mind. In this piece I decided to blur the body and leave the n1pps un blurred because we have been living in a world where they have hammered into our skulls since we have been little about the separation of mankind from nature. WE ARE NATURE as well! They censor us telling us we can’t show the whole picture, is either one or the other....bodies are beautiful and they should all be celebrated. Love yourself. . . “Censorship reflects a society’s lack of confidence in itself. It is a hallmark of an authoritarian regime. . . . “Censorship is the child of fear. the father of ignorance. and the desperate weapon of fascists everywhere.” . . “When you tear out a man’s tongue, you are not proving him a liar, you’re only telling the world that you fear what he might say.”

Born in Lima Peru(Now resides in Austin TX, USA), during times of political and social unrest (80's), modern day renaissance man J.C. Amorrortu began developing his unique approach and style in his creative endeavors (Music, Painting, Drawing, Illustration, Printmaking & Watercolor). His art reflects an eclectic mix of traditional and modern. J.C spent decades learning to paint in the old masters style (specially the Dutch style), he wanted to make art that had meaning but would also had museum quality technique. Seeing his first Vermeer painting changed his life and inspired him to make art that would last for centuries. The quality of his craft has earned him awards, commissions from wealthy patrons and the honor to have his art in private collections around the globe. He is very prolific and thinks a true artist should be able to paint what he/she feels without fear; a sense of humor never hurts either. beauty is find everywhere. As an artist you should strive to improve and to honor change; I am always changing and learning new techniques.
