Revisit # 1 Painting

The core theme in Simone Florell’s works are the examination of social structures and human relationships with all their fragilities, dynamics, reciprocity and correlations. The work is an attempt to understand ever more about our psychology, our social hard-wiring and stone age brains as much as a try to learn where we’re coming from, where we are and to anticipate where we might be heading. In a time of forced isolation and detachment from ones social structures this topic experiences a whole new shift, added complexity and a burnings lens on what drives us humans – with most of us living through this collective experience at the moment.
