ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work is part of a collection based on memory loss and function. It existed “almost finished” in my studio for a year before a recent conversation with a friend and some spicy new colors added to the palette had me reconsidering its purpose. Finalizing it came through a process of remembering, restructuring and reimagining what was, into what is. Things can change, and for this painting (and relationship it references) it’s was time. The artwork is on stretched canvas with painted wrapped edges and comes ready to hang.
