ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Nature is one of my main inspirations and specially the leaves. This Philodendron plant is at my home's entrance. I looked to show all the lines that go up, down and twist to form this complex pattern of only one leaf. I hope viewers feel themselves surprised before nature itself. I like to use acrylics not only because they dry fast, but because all the possibilities they give to make effects like the ones at the bottom. Some of the lines are enhanced with pastels to show how they twist, fold, go up and down. Hanging hardware is included.
