About The Artwork
This painting is ready to hang unframed. It sticks out from the wall a couple of centimeters when hung. I painted it on a catalogue from a toy shop, which is where the title comes from (Optimus is the name of a character from a children's toy franchise- the mis-spelling is intentional). I used household items to create the patterns, amongst other things a car-aerial. This painting is meant to convey a sense of movement, more specifically a rolling down a hill movement. This is why the light blue strip (the sky) is at the bottom and the green strip (the ground) is at the top, but it can also be hung so that the sky is at the top.
