Passionate by creation for many years, Assia, has a scientist background, and has been working in fields as diverse as corporate, theater, photography and painting. Enthusiastic and professional, her career reflects a great artistic activity. Since her young age, she likes to draw and work materials, play with bright colors, and transcribes her playful imagination trough out her paintings by developing an energetic and recognizable style. Nourished by her many travels around the world and her various experiences and artistic encounters, she has for more than 15 years made many works and collages based on natural materials such as wood, sand, stones. In addition to her current profession in the scientific field, Assia is now getting more dedicated to painting. Self-taught painter, she perfected her style halfway between abstract and oniric. She participates in her own personal way to contemporary art and she is dedicated to creating on both canvas and paper using acrylic, pastel and charcoal. She builds her artworks with the drowning and then transcribes her emotions of the moment. Its originality is reflected in artworks that are sometimes aphoristic and stylishly purified. Since 2013, Assia has regularly exhibited her paintings and has already captured the attention of several private collectors and amateurs in Canada, France and United States. She is represented in art galleries in Toronto and Los Angeles.
