1394 / 5000 Risultati della traduzione Gino Diamanti was born in Carrara on August 25, 1965, a city known for its suggestive marble quarries. It is precisely those majestic mountains that instill in him the desire to express himself through his hands. Silent person, of few words who manages to interpret his personality through art and drawing. Music is his great inspiration, since he was a boy he has always been looking for new sounds with a rock and punk rhythm that he can materialize in his canvases; it was the 80s, the period of punk, metal and the first hints of grunge, of protest music and boys like Gino were in the characteristic Piazza Farini under the porch of the Politeama to exchange vinyls, the latter he still keeps them as the soundtrack of his creations. His works in acrylic and mixed media are deliberately chaotic and abstract, the colors are vivid, full and enhanced by the clear background. The often recurring adhesive tape, in the brightest colors, hides the background of the canvas as a sort of protection and obstruction to the forbidden. Gino's art is mysterious, it leaves room for imagination and free thought, an obvious end is never evident but rather the interpretation is allowed to fully involve the observer. Gino currently lives in Lido di Camaiore, a town in Versilia close to his beloved mountains.
