Andrey Savitskiy was born on January, 25, 1987 in the village Turskovoy in Gomel region. But two years later his family took a decision to move to another village Jidche, which is situated near Pinsk, Brest region. In early age his passion for art was developed thanks to his father, who was not a professional-so his drawings expressed just what was interesting to his son- Indians, weapon, prancing horses or the map of Africa in young Andrey’s maths exercise book. It excited a child and with time he began emulating. He was totally fascinated with diligent copying of Dad’s drawings. Time goes by and he begins to refuse of somebody’s ideas for drawing his own. When being a teenager, when it comes the time of seeking new authorities Andrey meets a new mentor- local artist. Exactly thanks to him the boy has got acquainted with first canvas, color and perspective. That time he understood that this passion is eternal. In 2007 Andrey goes to Grodno State University to become a drawing teacher and an artist. That was absolutely new life full of discoverings that is left in his memories like sleepless nights spent for studying academic painting. Time went by, nothing new appeared in the studying process which was eventually turning to routine and chasing one goal of getting high education. That time Andrey takes a decision to leave University. Right after that he found a job of specialist in Model-based design. And two years after he moves to Minsk. There he founded his own outdoor advertising agency, gains financial independence and like it always happens, suffers from “success inflation syndrome” as he can’t see the sense of what he is doing. In 2017 he returns to painting. Attending the exhibitions, acquaintance with a women that much inspiring him who has influenced his way of thoughts, way of life - all of that has made him perceive himself completely. He definitely got much more mature, it was the time to speak out, and his paintings will never be the same. The new wave was marked by studying deeply the modern art trends, symbols and colors, new names and dimensions in art. ...... Being inspired, the artist wanted to paint life as it is- love in its nontrivial expressions, death- everything that is not due to talk about. Andrey paints the things that course shame or rejection- things that most of people try to hide or forget about.
