This sketch is a part of a series of Life studies using a mixed media of paint and crayon (or charcoal). They are small bijoux studies where I am quickly capturing the essence of the model, using suggestive marks and accents, minimal information to portray what I am seeing. I am very aware of genealogy, who : Degas, Uglow and Bonington are my inspiration.
