ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This series of large watercolours I call "Serendipity" .I had an exhibition in Japan and while the paintings were traveling from Takamatzu to Nagoya I was traveling myself too. Creative and poetic spirit of japanies artists from the past and nowadays penetrated my imagination and I ve started to develop a vision of my future works. Usually I work in oil, but "Serendipities" definitely had to happen in watercolour. Lots of water and semi-precious grinder stones and natural pigments, haiku and writing of wishes on wooden tablets of Shintoists places of worship...
