A bit of Jackson Pollock, a bit of Romana Meissner - so what? Acrylic and modelling paste on extra deep canvas. The modelling past gives the work a rough texture in some parts (cf. detail image). The painting is sold without a frame and ready to hang. It's painted on a 4cm deep canvas and is signed and dated on the side (bottom right) and on the back. The title is also written on the back.

I am a Czech-born and now Germany based painter. In my works I explore the essence of what surrounds me: why do people act the way they do? What lies beneath the surface of what meets the eye? What are we driven by? To express what I sense beneath the surface I feel drawn to different materials and a range of colours, which I apply in different layers on my canvases and papers, using a variety of techniques including scratching, brushing and printing. This way expressive works are created, some reduced to basic expressions, others rich in colour and texture.
