ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Size: 46" W x 46" H (116 x 116 cm) The idea for this artwork was born spontaneously. I looked for inspiration in the passionate and colorful Spanish culture. With bold strokes and sharp lines, I sketched out the figure of the bull and matador against the golden background. I refused to depict a bullfighting scene and made the heroes of my painting simply symbols of indomitable strength and courage. I adhered to the color combinations typical of Spanish art. That is why my picture is so emotional and expressive. Looking at it, you can even hear the sound of castanets.
