Born in Spain in 1975. Living in Hereford (UK) since 2019. Artist and father. It is difficult to explain what moves me or, more I would say, forces me or pushes me towards this creative path or expression, in my case with painting, drawing, artistic installation or with my nods to performance and writing. I think that someone already said, referring to the painting, that it is an inevitable act. For me, this statement summarizes in a very palpable way the motor that moves me towards that confrontation with a canvas, a paper. A surface. It is that confrontation, that conflict, where for me resides the grace of this whole matter, call it Art or simply a doing. A sweet fight that appears to a greater or lesser extent every time I enter my studio and makes me abandon time, becoming a tailor trying to make the best possible costume. A suit that probably nobody will wear (see here one of the contradictions of the creative act) but that still you want it to be the one with the best colors, the most intense gestures and the most luminous chains of gold and sharp tacks. That doing, is a commitment to oneself, an act of resistance, a way to change the world, an IDon'tKnowWhatIsGoingToHappen, a force of attraction that arises from the guts, passes through the heart and discusses with life. For me,The Art is an excuse to continue painting and drawing. To keep messing around.
