ABOUT THE ARTWORK

In this series, the artist explores the problem of the loneliness of a modern person, which is felt most acutely in conditions of constant intense forced communication. The concept of "loneliness" is multifaceted. According to the optimistic philosophical concept, loneliness is considered as voluntary solitude and gives an opportunity for expression in the human soul of a craving for beauty, goodness and perfection. A creative person needs solitude to concentrate on his spiritual potentials. Only in the silence of his own soul does a person realize the deep meaning of his personal life, as well as the real value of human communication. The works of the LOST series depict possible corners of temporary solitude for finding inner balance, reflection, in-depth auto-communication, merging with nature, places where you can get lost to replenish your vital energy. The painting «SWIMMING ALLOWED» is a part of «LOST» series. Original oil painting made on 100% cotton canvas 380 g/m2.
