Prague is a constant inspiration for me. A city full of Saints and incredible history arouses a continual desire in me to capture snippets of it's beauty and glory and in this work put my own emotion into the interpretation. Watercolor is a glorious medium for this. The softness and liquidity of watercolor can create an ethereal softness injecting a whimsical magic even on subjects of stone.

Judy was born in Melbourne Australia. She gained a Diploma of Art from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology 1963. She has had a long and exciting career and her art work has been through varying styles and stages over the years. She is probably best known for her Impressionist seascapes, which have been popular for over 20 years. She has had over 40 Solo exhibitions in Australia, England and Sweden. She regularly exhibits in group shows in Australia and most recently also in New York, LasVegas and Bologna. She has had 49 prints out in world distribution and 1 limited edition. Most of her art work is Impressionist-Realist in style. Judy works mostly in oil, acrylic and watercolour. She is a purist in technique and uses wide sweeping brush strokes to capture timeless exciting images suffused with brilliant light, colour and intricate detail of light and shade.. Above all she paints from the heart and hopes her work will touch the heart of another. Her paintings are treasured by viewers not only for their brilliant beauty and dazzling light, but also for the ability the images have to soothe and heal the viewer, and to offer a gentle reminder of all that is out there in the world if we take but a moment to notice. As Judy says" I have always wanted my art work to bring moments of joy and happiness to the viewer and allow them a chance to dwell, for a moment, on the sweeter things of life.
