"Salongsliv - is psychoanalysis still relevant?" Painting

Lina Lindqvist is a painter based in Stockholm. She graduated from Umeå University in 2006 with a master’s degree in art and art history, along with additional painting studies at the art academy. With a long-term interest in architecture, she explores different places, spatiality, and their relationship to humans. Depopulated places interest her and are a recurring theme in her work. Born and raised in Västerbotten in northern Sweden, nature has also been a significant source of inspiration. Desolate landscapes and forests are recurring themes, often intertwined with elements drawn from urban settings and imagined environments. Lina has participated in several juried exhibitions, including exhibitions in New York City and Los Angeles, and is represented in numerous private collections.
