Mixing sand from the beach and the oils, the artist’s energy begins transferring to the process. Using a palette knife, Barb texturally spreads the mixture onto the canvas. Because of the thick texture this artwork takes several months to dry. This work is unframed. Barb hopes that the viewer is transported to the tremendous sights and sounds of the beaches of the world,
