It seems that there has never been an artist who has made Sangpyeong Tongbo, the currency used in Korea during the Joseon Dynasty, into a work of art, so this is an experimental work that I have created with aesthetic concerns. I applied modeling paste mixed with crushed coffee to a wooden board to create a burnt umber color, which is the color of old coins, and partially applied Korean paper to create a collage. I want to emphasize the meaning of creating a work of art using coins from Korea during the Joseon Dynasty.

I'm a artist based in Daejeon city, South Korea, I graduated my masters degree in a formative art at Hannam university in Daejeon. My art style reflect the various inside and emotion of human from the people's common life and Expressing the various human emotions felt while watching 'Nakhwa', an old traditional fireworks display in Korea, through light and color. My art follow the expressionism from the strong and tough stroke with a brush and knife, and thick painting. I use various medium as like stone dust and modeling paste when I paint the strong and beautiful color change from the traditional play of fire flower of my hometown. Recently, I have been trying to express the artistic energy within me by breaking away from form and discovering color and accidental composition through the overlap and scratching of various colors to express the emotions I feel within nature and humans.
