The “Scary Lady” is my self-portrait in the midst of a Peperomia Tetragona plant, which I killed shortly after the painting was finished. We didn’t get along. :/ Also, there are suspicions that a face from a painting can move its eyes. I’ve been watching her from the kitchen when preparing dinners for some time now… and I’m alive yet. The face takes people for their bad deeds and for being ungrateful – not only the guy from “Saw” movie can do that. So… for those in need of self-discipline, I recommend the original or even a poster (also works)…

- The painting's surface is painted with a thicker layer of acrylic paint, so you can clearly see its texture.
- The entire surface has a matt finish.
- My signature is on the front and reverse side of the canvas.

Hello! I’m Ewelina Czarniecka. Since middle school, my close ones have called me "effe." I’m a painter and a graphic designer. I learned about painting skills from my grandfather and father. I gained my creative soul at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Later I enriched it with strong graphics knowledge while studying at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology. While I’m painting I focus on things that improve my mood: strong colors, contrasts, women with distinctive character and shapes and nature. I’ve been painting professionally for five years in my beloved studio in Warsaw, the capital of Poland. My goal is to create pleasant and simple art for people.
