ABOUT THE ARTWORK

It is the illustration to the one of the Greek mythes. In the first, the legendary Greek hunter Orion and the Goddess Artemis held a competition to test their humting prowess. This came as a result of Orion's boast that he could single-handedly kill every animal on Earth. Artemis used her deadly Scorpion to prove him wrong. In another version, Apollo orders the Scorpion to kill Orion as a result of Artemis' growing affection for the Hunter. Artemis hangs her lost lover's image in the night sky. Cotton fine-grained canvas. Handmade natural wood subframe. St. Petersburg paints "Ladoga", "Master Class", Dutch paints "Art Creation" and "Amsterdam".

For me the main thing in painting - is the creation of the atmosphere, optimistic, easy mood with anticipation of happiness, mystery. For me is very important color, meditation composition and dynamic smear. I paint something that I have personal feelings, memories. I try to find beauty and mystery in the ordinary. I am writing a series devoted to one topic, and try to solve the different themes in different ways stylistically. Borned on August 8 1964 year in Lviv 1977 - 1980 Studied in Lviv artistic school.
