My paintings and photographs of Parisian, Venetian, and New York everyday life are inspired by the many summers and winters we have lived in the cities. My most recent abstract paintings are inspired by light of Spring. Jo Tuck's works are in private collections around the world and regularly participates in shows in New York, Caelum Gallery, and London. , including Christie's Cancer benefit show and the RA Summer shows Her background is film editing until she became a full-time painter and photographer. While she was at college she made two 16mm short films, one on the Australian Aboriginal Women and another on Sheep farming in Wales. After film editing for the BBC and feature films I took up painting and photography full time. My photojournalism is inspired by Henri Cartier-Bresson, Walker Evans, Eugene Atget, and Robert Frank .
