“Sea Blue Green Fusion” is an abstract expressionist style oil painting created with the action painting technique utilized by Jackson Pollock. “As I move around the canvas laid upright on the floor I dribble and splash paint onto the canvas which captures these free gestural arm movements”. With multiple applications, each layer interacts with the previous, building a surface with a complex visual texture suggestive of natural organic elements. It visually imitates nature, both on a microscopic level, or as viewed from an aerial perspective. From the Metallic Series it captures the richness of red, pink and scarlet nestled among patterns of silver paint. It shows many visual effects viewed in different types of lighting and will respond well to natural or spot lighting. Painted on a 1.5” gallery wrapped canvas with the edges painted white and finished with a layer of protective varnish. It comes ready to hang and signed on the front.
