ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Set in the Coromandel, New Zealand Sea Change is the perfect blend of my older iconic figure paintings and my more recently developed techniques for coastal and landscape work. I'm really very happy with this new painting! Sea Change brings a sense of calm to the room. A beautiful painting aesthetically, it draws the viewer in from the woman's point of view and takes the eye across the hills, across the water.

International travels 1997 for 3 years taking in all major galleries. Extensive exhibiting of figurative paintings upon return from travels. Full time painting from 2005. Selling work within NZ as well as to international collectors including the John Deere Art collection in Moline, Illinois, USA. Inspired hugely by my own country, people and culture as well as by the modernist movements of early 20th century Europe.
