Sea Turtle 2 Painting

This repurposed 12" vinyl record has been created by our three step process. First, the background is created with a fluid art technique. Then the 2nd addition is hand painted on top. The third addition is two coats of resin to give it a high gloss and make all the metallic colors more vibrant. The background is variations of greens and looks like the deep ocean so a sea turtle swimming was a perfect choice to embellish this wall art. It has a felt backing so it protects your wall and there is a plastic hook to hang it. Two coats of premium epoxy high gloss resin are applied to make the colors more vibrant and the metallic shimmer pop! Resin shine doesn't show in the picture but it looks like glass! Clear coat high-glass epoxy resin brings artwork to life while protecting it. It adds both depth and dimension. Although the results glisten for themselves, the process requires patience, preparation, and care, but the ending results are so worth it! We do our best to insure perfect coats of resin but occasionally, as with any creative process, there may be small imperfections on the surface of the resin such as fine bubbles or small particles that have found a way to the painting and cured within the resin during its 24-48 hour drying stage. These do not in any way take away the beauty of the painting.
