Anastasia Antia is a contemporary artist living and working in Portugal. Originally from Saint Petersburg, she has developed her artistic practice for many years in Cascais and Lisbon. Her background in engineering shaped her analytical approach to the creative process, allowing her to build a precise and multilayered visual language. A turning point in her career came in 2015, when she fully dedicated herself to oil painting. Anastasia is known for her distinctive textured technique, where multilayered application, rich color work, and expressive surfaces form the core of her artistic identity. Her practice explores emotion, human inner states, and the dialogue between the visible and the invisible. Each painting becomes an autonomous narrative, combining vibrant color palettes with a profound sense of introspection.
