Title: Seated Blue Nude Size: 36 x 48 inches Medium: Mixed media on canvas Seated Blue Nude and the other paintings in this series reflect my interest in history, vintage photographs and movies. What has fascinated me for years is that the actual projected colour of black and white movies is more in the indigo and blues and not in the grayscale we imagine. The flickering and dancing lights in the frame of the pictures turn a yellow-orange especially when viewed on old projection equipment. Like the filmmakers of the past, I too am interested in capturing a moment in time This painting is done on canvas. The work is signed. It comes accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
