Secret Garden Painting

Alenka Vrhovnik Tezak, in art Art Vivianne, is an artist based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Europe. She has been painting since childhood. She has attended different Art schools and some art courses. She believes that nature is her greatest inspiration and that visiting the major Art Museums and Galleries is the best school to learn the higher expressions of Art. Over the years, her work has evolved from realistic to more abstract and symbolic, but the underlying motivation or intent has never changed: use painting as a means to be in the moment and enjoy the silence that sets in while creating. She sees painting as an act to go beyond all layers of fear and hope that prevent pure and free creation. Her paintings are optimistic as she paints from a place of love, abundance, and her compassion for others. Her motto is “I love Beauty.” She creates paintings combining an old master feel with rich color and painterly brushstrokes. With her work you will be bringing a layer of refined beauty into your collection that uplifts the soul. Her paintings bring a feeling of abundance and intimacy and are influenced by centuries of traditional still life painting from the Dutch Masters of the 1600s to French Academics of the 1900s.
