ABOUT THE ARTWORK
There exists one self-portrait of Cheng he created in pencil for his mother in 1978 and this one in 2024 (age 59). He used opposite colors to create a bigger contrast, nevertheless he intentionally lets the figure "faint" into the abstract background.
