ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Ira takes selfie on her front camera on the mobile phone at the airport. Drawn on striped cotton fabric. This series is a reflection of a female psychological and behaviour pattern, routed in technological advance, social media, pressure of new trends, new social roles etc. With my canvases and illustrations I'm trying to do what street-style photographers do with their cameras – catch moments of regular life - and give it a fashion touch.
