At the beginning of her artistic creation, Tamara expressed herself mainly in abstract painting and gradually she incorporated significant elements into her artwork, which helped her to create specific themes, such as memories, family life scenes, personal and relationships reflections, dreamy landscapes, etc. The advantage of Tamara as a painter, but also a human being, is her authenticity. She has been inspired primarily by herself and moreover creating tirelessly from her own deep inner need. Gardens and Lakes. The garden is the archetype of rest and safety that the Garden of Eden symbolised for Adam and Eve before their expulsion. By the tasting of the forbidden fruit, they were given knowledge - consciousness, but part of their minds remained trapped in non-consciousness, which is represented by the hidden depths of the lakes. It is no coincidence that these elements are permanently repeated in Tamara's creation. They are purely feminine symbols and she creates very feminine art, but not feminist one. In the landscape of gardens and lakes, the author thus moves on the ground of her own. Dita Jankova
