Dana Doumani is an artist and interior designer based in Los Angeles. Creative from an early age, with a keen eye for the rare and beautiful, she blends abstraction, figuration and cubism in her works. Dana uses acrylics, charcoals, oils, paper and other mediums to create her mixed media abstract paintings. An interior designer for over 20 years, Dana started painting in 2020 during the pandemic in lockdown as a way to escape and bring solace into her life during a very tumultuous time. Dana started doing large abstract commissions for her interior design clients. “It is wild and wonderful to have people respond and like my paintings. I make art that I think will look cool and beautiful in a space, evoke emotion, hopefully draw your eyes and mind in making you want to stare at the piece, slow your gaze and keep coming back for another look” say’s Dana. Dana graduated from the prestigious USC School of Dramatic Arts and studied abstract painting at Otis College of Art and Design and is currently working towards earning her Masters Degree in Fine Art. She lives in Los Angeles with her two sons.
