Currently working from her studio in Chicago. Art has remained a constant presence throughout my life. I graduated from the Academy of Arts in Europe with a degree in Fashion Design, where I received comprehensive training in academic drawing—from portraiture to nudes—as well as decorative painting rooted in classical techniques. These foundational skills have become integral to my professional journey. My artistic practice began with painting on silk, one of the oldest art forms. Over time, this passion developed into the creation of monumental silk artworks. This extraordinary process not only expanded my technical abilities but also deepened my engagement with the art world. Over the course of my career, I have exhibited in numerous European galleries, and my work is represented in a range of private collections. For many years, I also worked as a commissioned artist, producing bespoke pieces tailored to the visions of individual collectors. My journey included a meaningful pause while I dedicated myself to raising my three children. During this period, I turned to the simplicity of paper and pencil, creating a number of drawing series that offered both solace and inspiration. More recently, my practice has evolved toward multi-layered painting, a technique that enables me to explore the interplay of light, breath, and space. Each new work presents the challenge of navigating the delicate balance between color and composition. I often spend days refining a single section, as the process is intricate and unfolds through a complex journey before culminating in the painting’s final form. Art continues to be my greatest passion and guiding force, accompanying me through every stage of both my personal and professional life.
