ABOUT THE ARTWORK
All the media coverage on shark spotting was my inspiration for this piece. After the first layer of resin cured, I drizzled clear resin in some areas to create a 3D effect. Sides are painted with Golden's mica iron oxide - a warm, nearly black color that dries with texture (similar to sandpaper) and sparkle.
