Natalia Wiercinska (formerly known as Mathilda) is a contemporary Polish painter whose artistic practice is rooted in abstraction, surrealism, and emotional freedom. Her creative journey began in 2018, inspired by the story of Jean-Michel Basquiat. She first explored street art and critical art, leaving her mark on the streets of Poland, the Netherlands, and Germany. Eventually, she shifted towards modern forms of expression—creating works that combine experimental techniques with intuition and spirituality. Natalia works across multiple media: acrylics, oils, inks, watercolors, sprays, pastels, markers, and contour paints. She paints on canvas, paper, and boards—anything that allows her to fully channel the emotion and energy of the moment. Her art reflects inner processes: transformation, healing, love, spiritual awakenings. Each piece holds a fragment of her soul. She doesn’t follow one style, believing that true artistic freedom knows no limits. Now, as Natalia Wiercinska, she gently closes the chapter of “Mathilda”—a persona born from the need to survive, to create, to alchemize pain into beauty—and steps into a new chapter of her life: as a conscious, spiritual, and liberated artist.
