ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I have been a landscape painter for most of my artistic career. Aside from painting landscapes En Plein Air, I sometimes find myself painting conceptual landscapes...ones that grow and breathe within my mental and emotional state at that moment in time. The "Shattered Landscape" series was done during a tumultuous period in my life, and represented recently shattered dreams. "Shattered Landscape III" is Signed, Dated, Matted (museum cut, beveled), Framed (white wood), and Ready to Hang. Framed Dimensions: 18"x22". She has been an artist since she was three years old, painting in oil, watercolors, and gouache; sculpting in marble; and creating various 2-d and 3-d works with various other materials.
