Exploring my intuitive and artistic talents drives my themes. Mine is an impulse driven style. The style I prefer is what I want to see, what I feel what I perceive and undefinable instincts. I explore challenges based on instincts, inspirations and interpretations. I wish my art to be evocative and thought-provoking. Art should be impressive, should exude richness and depth. The painting should be a reflection of one’s dreams, passions and beauty of the inner soul. Landscapes as well as seascapes should exude spontaneity, movement and an enduring beauty.

Marylou Victoria-Siegel is the quintessential late-bloomer. A self-taught artist without formal training, she compensated simply by mustering all of her innate artistic instincts to create exquisite works of art. After an almost 40-year hiatus, she picked up the brush in June 2012, and with the constant encouragement of her artist niece, called upon her artistic and creative DNA, and produced her current collection. Her evocative style and themes include abstracts, landscapes, and seascapes, in acrylic on canvas. The paintings pulsate with an explosion of colors and vibrancy exuding richness and depth. The artistry and movements are inspirational and thought-provoking. Decades of dormancy did not dampen her artistic enthusiasm. She kept the fire and passion for the arts burning by visits to some of the most prestigious museums in the world: the Louvre and Auguste Rodin (Paris), MOMA (New York), Guggenheim (New York and Bilbao, Spain), Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh (Amsterdam), Vatican museum (Rome), the Uffizi Gallery and the Galleria dell’Accademia (Florence, Italy), the Prado (Madrid); ventures that enhanced and enriched her creative spirit. Since 2012, when she resumed painting, her work has been displayed and sold in several art exhibits. She has had many solo art exhibits, which were immensely affirming and validating. Several of her paintings are displayed in Asia, USA, Canada and Europe. Seizing the momentum lost when her artistic and creative gifts lay dormant, emboldened her to become prolific. Her collection now totals over 250 works of art. Visit Marylou Siegel’s websites. Be impressed. Be dazzled. Be inspired. Her collection may be seen at
