Her works are eneregetic color fields with a high aesthetic qualitty and power each in there own way............................................................................... .............Growing up in Nijmegen, Netherlands so close to the woodlands and Ooy polder I have been surrounded by the beauty of nature and its mystical qualities. As a child my grandfather put me every morning at 06.00 AM on his luggage carrier for a trip in the woods. It was magical seeing the early morning light wandering through the tree branches. It was my grandfathers way to have his spititual moment whitout realizing that he rooted this sprirtual awarness in to me. My early memories of drawing and painting are when I was two years old. It enabled me and still does to escape to a place of my own, a moment of stilness to connect with myself and the great force of all. Painting is very much a emotional and spiritual process for me. A process of reconciliation and healing............................................................... ...................I make my work with no preconceived idea, still I am highly inspired durig the painting process itself. This requires an open state of mind and attitude. I have to be open what comes and let it evolve carfully listening where the creative force wants to go. I am just a instrument in this process and it results in colorful, energetic atmospheric sometimes minimalistic paintings. I hope that my work leads to a moment of stillness and contempaltion for the beholder. website:
