Silver Shadow III and IV Painting

Working in metallic silver or gold paint is like making wall jewelry. Creating layers and textures as an experiment in possibilities. There is usually an idea, but seldom does it come out exactly as the IDEA. That is part of the fun and the surprise. Using recycled clear plastic acrylic panels supports the environment and is a joy to work with. I draw inspiration from nature including rocks, metals and Crystal's. Often the multi layered effect reminds me of the way Mother Nature creates in layers over time. Silver dust and salt crystal add interest and more texture they are unpredictable and add to the organic feeling.
