The reason I draw is, simply, because I cannot not to. The arts are as essential as air, meal and water for me. It is this moment, when I brush my pencil on the paper, that, literary, gives me a feeling of a physical pleasure. Through my work I try to express my feelings and personal experiences without overanalyzing these by my mind. It is rather emotional and physical journey, than rational or intellectual. With my work I won’t give answers, describe natural phenomena or an event, it is rather reflections of images born by my sub- and unconsciousness. I try to touch people’s feelings, inspire, create images and experiences in their minds, rather than explain or impose my own perception of the world. Once the work is finished, it is given a name. At this point, the work is independent and has a life of its own. It travels the world, visits galleries, finds its place in a public space, private collection or someone’s home. My main materials are brush, watercolor painting and India ink on a piece of paper. The choice of using these materials in combination with a special technique are the results of core ideas of my work.
