About The Artwork
I often paint with watercolour or gouache. It needs only little space and I can do it anytime easily. This work has as well some metallic golden acrylic colour. You see on the second photo. One act, one step, one cut. And then I sit here. What comes now? The sword is a symbol for decisions. There are many to be made. Are you at peace with that? Are they clear and simple? Even small steps lead you further. When the sword has been drawn, it also returns to the scabbard. All is done. Then there is silence.
