ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting is inspired by a drawing I made in a life drawing session. I like the contrast between the mellifluous body and the expressive setting. Please notice also the fine shattered lines of the texture made on purpose adding a mysterious appeal. Painting made during my time in the Kunstakademie Bad Reichenhall – "Sleeping Frija", acrylic on canvas frame with dark painted edges, varnished and signed. Ready to hang also without a decorative frame.
