My child is my inspiration.I decided to draw him as a fairytale hero with such a magical flower. This flower has never left indifferent gardeners and botanists. The funny mouth of the snapdragon has delighted children at all times. If you press the rim from the sides, the “mouth” opens, exposing the bright inner part of the rim. This movement, which resembles the opening of the mouth, has always made him funny. You could say that snapdragon is a flower that turns gardeners into children and children into gardeners. In the myths of Ancient Greece, we find a beautiful and a bit sad legend about the origin of this flower:
That was a long time agothere lived a huge and terrible lion. Every day, the lion attacked people, killed and ate them. Neither spears and arrows, nor the sharp sword of brave warriors could pierce the skin of a lion and did no harm to him.At this time, the mighty Hercules was in the service of Tsar Eurystheus, whom his stepmother, the wife of the Thunderer, the goddess Hera, decided to get rid of. She whispered a few words into the ear of the Nemean king, who ordered Hercules to kill the cruel lion terrorizing his city. This was the first feat of Hercules.
Zeus placed the constellation of a lion in the sky to commemorate this victory, and the goddess Flora created a beautiful flower and named it snapdragon, deciding that it would remind people of the torn mouth of a Nemean lion.In the Middle Ages, snapdragon was considered a means of protection against the machinations of the devil, witches and other evil spirits. To create the painting, I used my favorite materials, oil and canvas, plus a charge of positive energy.

The more I paint, the more my eyes are looking for beautiful colors, compositions, shapes of objects,аnd this is no coincidence, since both the human body and everything that is on our planet and the planet itself strive for the golden ratio, as the ideal of beautiful harmony. Many pictures of our time and the past cause feelings of sadness, dipression and even horror, but the world is so beautiful and so unique there is so much Beauty in it that it is difficult to imagine! Perhaps for someone, art serves to convey pain or suffering, but I use it for only one purpose, I want to convey my insane sense of admiration for the beauty and energy that is around us. I let all this beauty pass through my heart and as a result my works appear, I really like what I do and I am happy to share it with the world.
