Snowflake Painting

I was born and lived in Siberia for a long time, so I know how severe the character of the nature can be. Today my soul led me to the south of France, to the Cote d'Azur, Nice. And here I am truly creating - expressing my inner world, and not copying the visibal things. For this reason, you will not find landscapes, still lives or portraits in my works, I do not want to capture pictures of the world, like a photographer, I want to show my attitude. For me, my art is also a form of escapism and meditation. In my paintings, I convey my experience: I persuade or deny, laugh or abhor. It is difficult to convey such things with fine art genres of painting, so I found an out way in abstraction. As a person who is obsessed by Wabi-Sabi concept, I am not fixated on the perfection of my paintings; I am more attracted by imperfect beauty. Thus, my strict simple geometric shapes combine a variety of colors and textures that seem to form on their own. And what will happen next to me, as an artist, will be very interesting to observe, because I have always had a million ideas and many projects.
