About The Artwork

I was inspired by the solidity and strength of the tree standing at the edge of the eroded ground, with all going on around the tree, the tree is still standing which also reflect we human has while with all the things going on the world and in our various lives we are still standing in faith and resilient. When we are connected to the source we are solid and we are not move by what ever going on around us for our strength comes from within, the unbreakable spirit. Humanity has a lots to learn from nature for nature is the best teacher and the most beautify sanctuary. I hope the viewer will see the resilient and believe of the major tree in this painting that stand has the focal point of this painting which metaphorically represent humility in exile reconnecting to the source of all being. This, of which will make us have a rethink about our individual life because what we see and hear goes a long way in shaping our lives positively depending on the polarity we choose to align ourselves, has you know there are two polarities in life because at any give time in our various life are be force by nature to make chooses and the choose we made today determine our tomorrow. I choose oil on canvas has medium for this subject matter of this painting because oil is the best way for me to express the I have feelings for this subject, nature and its effect on man. I apply my colours on the canvas with pallet knife to achieve the impasto effect intended to drive home the message and the style of this painting is impressionism.
