I was inspired by a much needed vacation to the Caribbean Islands that was cancelled due to Hurricane Irma. I needed to be out of my normal routine of doing things which inspired me to try something a little different by using gel mediums, pouring the paint on and mostly letting things happen authentically. I am an abstract expressionist artist. I paint from raw emotion and release every ounce of my spirit into my creative endeavors. I studied Theater Arts and Design in New York. Painting is a medium that came to me later in my life. I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to express myself through abstraction. It's a delicious treat... sometimes decadent. I love the challenges that are presented as I contemplate new ideas, implement my thoughts and watch them become a reality. in addition, I love listening to guests who visit my studio and purchase my art. Thanks to my clients and collectors - both national and international I was able to fundraise for the Charlotte Arts & Humanities Council of Charlotte County (Florida). It was wonderful to be able to dance and paint for such a great cause and to celebrate the arts community through scholarships for students.
