Sonata a Kreutzer Painting

After more than four decades in project management, I finally dared to say enough and devoted myself to my real passion, which I have always cultivated: Painting! Yes, I am a self-educated artist with a deep knowledge of art history. I am an amateur who paints for pleasure and not for profession. I was born in Rome and spent half my life there; the Italian Renaissance is in my DNA, and Caravaggio is in my eyes. However, I was a teenager during the 1960s and was deeply impressed by the cultural revolution of those years, especially in music and visual art. Giorgio De Chirico and Carlo Carra’s metaphysical style, combined with the surrealism of Dali, Rene Magritte, and Max Ernst, are my inspiration beacons.
