What touches me is beautiful light, a certain expression on a face and the atmosphere between two or more people. And how do I get the energy packed and painted? I also love material, such as jeans for example.If you want to get outstanding results in painting jeans, you have to focus on what you see only. And I love doing it!
While painting, I am always searching for the perfect balance.
This may consider the balance between hard and soft limits, light and dark tones, bright, soft or no color and rest and tension.
I am aware of the borders and these extremes. Between these limits I am constantly looking for the perfect balance by restricting myself in color.
At the same time I am looking for the greatest possible freedom.
How little do I really need to show as much as possible? And how far can I go to explore the edges?
