Soulography of a meeting Painting

Imagine you could see the vitality of the energy, electrical, biological, emotional and spiritual behind raw matter of every day life. What would people look like? What will their face look like? And, most interestingly, what would their interactions, their approaches, their moments of exchange look like? I think my artwork depicts, or hints to, a deeper dimension of social interactions, and it shows that despite all the superficial lack of human connectedness, there is a long-longed for interest in mutual trust and understanding. So you might be wondering: "Where is the social interaction happening on your canvas?!". Well, let's take a closer look. Together. See on the top portion there are two heads, one in reddish-orange color and one in blues. They have human(ish) features, but these two may as well be from another... planet, dimension, maybe they are dream beings, or totally different creatures, with different sense organs, different needs, ideas and ways of connecting. As you watch through the "Soulography" - that is, the square bit on the top left -, you can see more of the inside of these two creatures and you can watch the currents of energy and movement flowing between, through and across them. There are tentacle-like, curvey lines and shapes projecting forward almost like antennas. And, isn't that true about those moments when we feel a deep connection with somebody, or during a wonderful absorbing conversation? Don't we feel almost as if we become one? Or, if not just one, we tend to change our shape, attitude in a way that it allows a more flowing exchange with the Other. That's a little bit about the concept behind my work. I had a lot of fun painting this visual marvel, and I know you can feel the powerful vibe. It's a rather large canvas and it would really make a "boom" impression on your wall. It comes varnished, so it's going to last as colourful and shiny as it is now for decades to go. As with all my other artworks, a plus is that you may one day decide to flip the painting on another side, and hang it vertically, for instance. That's possible because my painting technique involves placing myself to work on either side of the painting for a, more or less, equal amount of time, so that colours and shapes are distributed in such a way that the overall composition looks balanced whatever orientation you decide to give to it. Funny, isn't it? You can have four painting in one, as to say. What else to add?
